STEP 12 A DREAM (In answer to a prayer – really!)

Judy and I owned a small piece of land in the country, a bunch of rocks, scraggly trees and brush with a few paths clear enough on which to walk A good road was along one end. As we rarely used the land we were considering selling it so we thought we'd better give it a good “once over” before we decided.
After leaving the road and walking for just a short distance we heard the soft gurgling sound of flowing water. A few minutes of searching brought us to a pile of rocks from which a spring of water gushed up, flowed a few meters and disappeared back in the ground. The vegetation surrounding the spring was lush and appeared nearly untouched, so very different than the rest of the property.
I knelt down and scooped up some water in my hands and took a sip. It was most wonderful. Judy did the same. Standing there we heard sounds of more water coming from farther away and a brief walk brought us to the overview of a huge falls, water of the same kind gushing from a cliff to tumble down to a place obscured by the mist of the falls itself even though the sun was streaming in through the surrounding trees.
On the way back to the car we talked about the amazing taste and quality of what we had found, deciding that we would be missing a great opportunity if we were to sell the land and the treasure it held. We would start small, using what resources we had in order to bottle enough water to just give away to the households in the area. If the water was as good for others as it was for us, word would spread. There was water enough there for all.
